The service
Complyable (operated by Hansen Dev (CVR 46581989), Denmark) runs automated accessibility tests (WCAG 2.1 AA) against websites you submit and, on paid plans, monitors them on a schedule and generates a draft accessibility statement.
What automated testing can and can't do
Automated testing reliably detects an estimated 30-50% of accessibility issues: the most common, high-volume problems. A clean scan is not a guarantee of full WCAG or European Accessibility Act compliance, and our output is general information, not legal advice. A manual review by a qualified person is still required before you rely on or publish a statement.
Acceptable use
Only scan websites you own or are authorised to test. Do not use the service to attack, overload, or probe systems you do not control, or in any unlawful way. We may suspend accounts that breach this.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, on a monthly or annual cycle. Prices are shown at checkout and include any applicable VAT. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account or the Paddle billing portal. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact support@complyable.eu within 14 days of your first payment for a new subscription and we will refund it in full. After that, payments for completed billing periods are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period. Refunds are processed through Paddle. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Because automated testing cannot detect every accessibility issue, you remain responsible for your own compliance.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date above. These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
